The Packard automobile company constructed the building as a dealership in 1920. Later in the building 20th century it was converted into office space. In 2014 the interior of the building was gutted and completely renovated with 14 one- and two-bedroom large luxury apartments.

The apartments are spacious, ranging in size from 900-1350 square feet with ceiling heights of 8-11 feet. Each has bonus space of a large lockable storage area in an easily accessible storage room on each floor. They are among the largest luxury apartments to be found in the Washington Park/ Center Square area.

Amenities: Each apartment has its own heating, hot water, and central air conditioning systems so that they are individually controlled. The building includes an entry security system that allows tenants to admit guests and deliveries remotely from any location with internet connectivity. A community room with wifi and TV is also available to residents.

The building includes both furnished and unfurnished apartments. Furnished apartments are available for minimum periods of three months. Unfurnished apartments are available for minimum periods of one year.

The building is owned by Packard Apartments LLC. Green Sheds LLC, a New York State licensed real estate broker, manages the building for Packard Apartments LLC.
